通过翻译提高英文水平，是我自己一直坚持的学习方法。最近，在准备国家人事部Catti一级翻译资格证书考试，距离考试还有70天。
近期，也同时在备考国家二级心理咨询师考试，考试时间为11月8号。我参加了一个学习社群，领航老师提倡，通过高频率的持续行动，锻炼自己的意志力，实现自我的突破与改变。

今天的这篇英文来自《财富中文网》，是关于股神沃伦巴菲特的生活轶事的。英文全文1100字左右，我的译文，供大家参考。
在附上译文之前，有两点与大家分享。
第一，关于翻译。做翻译，实践很重要，不下水，想要学会游泳，肯定是天方夜谭。不过，对于非英文专业的，阅读一些理论书籍，在我看来，同样重要，因为，最起码，你需要知道中英文两种语言之间的差异，这样你的译文才能符合目的语的表达习惯。
在这里，推荐一本书给大家《英汉语言比较与翻译》（杨丰宁编著 天津大学出版社），本书从词汇、句子结构、篇章等方面，浅显易懂地对中英两种语言进行了对比，例子丰富，易于理解。
我在做每篇翻译时，都会对其中有些地方的翻译进行思考。本文就对“拆译法”，有所介绍，具体大家可译文。
第二，关于做人。做翻译，不是为了做翻译而做翻译。每读一篇文章，我们都应该去思考。因为阅读，其实是在与作者进行交流，从文字中都会收获启示与感动。
