About migration, we already had some material for you to review:

做过的事情就不做第二次，所以现在我们进入的是根据教学大纲来看这一章节中需要关注的内容。

如果你还没有在笔记本上将它们整理出来，就现在书本上做些圈画，随后将你的keywords, illustration, examples等可以串联成一段具有分析性的短文整理在笔记本上哟～

以step migration(同step-by-step migration, stepped migration)为例，就像上楼梯和走路一样要一个楼梯，一个楼梯地一步步走，就像很多人的读书过程一样：在村里读小学，考去县城读中学，考上市里的重点高中，考上省城的大学，再考上北京的研究生，最后去美国读个博士。

对比官员的话，就好像从村支书，再到县委书记，再到市长，升为省长...

Someone from rural settlement may first move to some familiar town, then after a few time, moves on to a larger urban settlement. For those who work in the formal sectors, like government officials or international companies, a move up in urban hierarchy is always related to the work promotion.
