如：I need to do some household chores or look after siblings. 我要做一些家务，还要照顾兄弟姐妹。

2 take out the trash 倒垃圾

如：I need to take out the tash after cleaning up the room. 打扫完房间之后我需要倒垃圾。

3 clean up the room 打扫房间

如：I practically clean up my room on a daily basis. 我几乎每天都要清理一遍房间。

4 put away the dishes after washing them 洗完盘子后把它们收起来

如：After washing the dishes, I put them away, and then I cleaned up the kitchen and even took out the trash. 我洗完盘子之后就把它们都收起来了。再之后我打扫了一下厨房还倒了个垃圾。

5 drag 无聊的事，拖累n.

如：Peeling potatoes is a drag. 削土豆是件无聊的事。

       Cleaning up the room is a drag. 打扫房间是件无聊的事。

Who normally does the housework in your family?

Well, my siblings often get me to do the chores. Like, taking out the trash, putting away the dishes after washing them and stuff like that. It's a real drag, to be honest. 我的兄弟姐妹通常让我做家务，像是倒垃圾，洗完盘子后把它们收起来之类的。说实话，这真的很烦呢！
