1 scribble sth. down=write sth. quickly 快速写下

The speaker spoke so fast that he could only scribble down several broken words. 演讲者讲得太快了，他只能匆匆记下几个 支离破碎 的字。

When he first arrived at university, he was not sure whether he was supposed to scribble down every word out of the professor's mouth.  刚上大学时，他不知道是否需要把老师讲的内容一字不落地都记下来。

2 clear=tidy 整洁的 

Her writing is really clear. 她的字很整洁。

3 sloppy =untidy 不整洁的，粗心的，潦草的

She wrote the letter in a sloppy way. 她潦草地写下了一封信

4 is hand-written 手写的

She unfolded the hand-written letter. 她打开了手写的一封信。

5 put ...in writing 把...记下来

I keep a diary on a daily basis, because I can put my thoughts in writing. 我每天都写日记，因为可以把自己的想法记下来。

6 jot down =write quickly 快速写下 

Sometimes I outline in more detail, and sometimes I just jot down a few sub-headings that will guide me through it all.  有时我会记录一些细节，有时我只是草草记下一些能够引导我贯穿全文的小标题。
