青海黄口，确实有一些偏透的特性，但整体还是很好的，油性上一般比若羌、且末的稍差。但在颜色、质地上其实都是很优秀的。青海黄口主要产自小灶火玉矿，这个矿口产出的一细青玉和鸡油黄黄口料受到很多玉友的青睐。好的青海黄口，在油性和颜色上也都不错。青花黄口里也有很多比较特殊的，比如黄口带翠，黄口带紫等等。

黄口料产地有很多，现在我们见的黄口料主要产地有若羌、且末、东北，青海，俄料里也有黄口料，只不过比较少见。

总之，任何产地都有好的也有差的，不能完全以产地论好坏，尤其是对于一些有色玉种来说，也许你信以为真的若羌黄，其实就是青海黄。
