俄罗斯碧玉，从名字上大家就可以看出来这是一种产地在俄罗斯境内的碧玉品种。这种玉石硬度约为摩氏6.5度，是软玉的一种。俄罗斯碧玉具有产量大、质地更为均匀，块大，颜色鲜艳等特点。

如果拿俄罗斯碧玉和和田碧玉相比较的话，俄罗斯碧玉底子干净，黑点少，比较适合做各种挂饰和手镯。虽然和田碧玉润度比较好，但是颜色不够鲜亮，黑点多，俄碧刚好弥补了和田碧玉的这些缺点。目前，俄罗斯碧玉是中国境内碧玉使用的主要原料。
