在句子的牵手与分手那一课，我们举了一个例子：

这里为什么用分号而不用逗号呢？
因为句子里没有连词，两个句子没办法牵手，只能用分号让其分手。

它是个连接副词。
连接副词，说到底，它的词性还是副词，因此它们：
没有直接连接两个句子的功能！
来看看下面几个句子：

thus是副词，不能连接两个句子。
This is one possible solution to the problem, however, there are others.（×）
however是副词，不能连接两个句子。

moreover是副词，不能连接两个句子。
