2020年以前，我们的根据地在西四的胡同里。那是个小小的蓝色四合院，客人都是来自世界各地的。有时候泡上一壶茶，听大家聊聊游历四海的故事，一天的时间就过去了。
Before 2020, our haven resided within the quaint Hutong of Xisi. A small, serene blue Siheyuan welcomed guests from every corner of the globe. Often, as we brewed a pot of tea and immersed ourselves in the captivating narratives of their worldwide travels, the day would gracefully pass by.
但是在城市里呆久了，总想与自然有着更多的交融。胡同里没啥别的植物，只有一棵槐树。槐树很大，风吹过树梢，树叶婆娑，发出的沙沙声总让人想象着如果拂过的是一片树林，那该有多震撼。
After spending an extended period in the city, I find myself yearning for deeper connections with nature. Within the alley, no other plants thrive, except for a magnificent locust tree. Towering grandly, its branches sway gracefully in the wind, producing a soothing rustle of leaves. This gentle rustling evokes vivid images of the tree's potential impact, as if it were traversing through a dense forest.
想要和自然更亲近！于是有空的时候，我们总往山里跑。山林静谧又神秘。最重要的是，在自然里，时间仿佛都被凝固，只有鸟鸣和昆虫的细语才会打破寂静。
Yearning to be intimately connected with nature, we instinctively gravitate towards the mountains during our free time. There, amidst the serene and enigmatic landscapes of lush forests, an aura of tranquility pervades. Above all, in the embrace of nature, time appears to stand still, and the ethereal symphony of chirping birds and delicate whispers of insects become the only sounds capable of breaking the enchanting silence.
后来赶上了疫情，小院关闭了。于是我们干脆离开了皇城脚下搬，一头扎进了山里。
Later, we were entangled in the grip of the COVID-19, leading to the closure of our quaint courtyard. Undeterred, we chose to venture far from the imperial city, seeking solace in the embrace of the mountains.

这儿出门是湖。湖水清澈见底，冬天结冰，夏天漂着许多的浮萍。
Heading outside, you'll find the lake. Its water is crystal clear, allowing you to see the bottom. During winter, it freezes over, while in the summer, it becomes adorned with numerous floating duckweeds.
这儿背面是山。远远能看见一排的山洞，不知道里面藏着什么样的秘密。
There are mountains behind this location, and from afar, I can see a row of caves, their mysteries shrouded in secrecy.
WHY-为什么是这里
因为这里有水。河流是自然的脉搏。夏天，拿上桨板走进溪流里。溪水在太阳的照耀下闪着光。它们轻轻拍打着岩石，拂过水草，伸出手，你可以感受到清凉的水流拨弄着你的掌心。
The presence of water in this area makes it truly special. Rivers are the lifeblood of nature, and in the summertime, we seize the opportunity to paddle and wade into the sparkling streams. 因为这里有星星。在每一个看似平常的夜晚抬起头，你会发现北斗星从未如此清晰。你能看见星座移动的轨迹，感慨于宇宙的无垠。
