单词辨析：praise，compliment，flatter

（1）praise：赞扬，钦佩

📝讲解：to express your approval or admiration for sb or sth, especially publicly.

📍例句1：He praised his team for their performance.

他称赞了各队员的表现。

评论家们赞扬这幅作品的高度原创。

（2）compliment：赞美，称赞

📝讲解：to tell sb that you like or admire sth they have done.

📍例句：She complimented him on his excellent German.

（3）flatter：奉承，讨好

📝讲解：to say nice things about sb, often in a way that is not sincere.
