The handcrafted gift I’m going to talk about is a DIY stocking I gave to my little cousin when Christmas rolled around last year.

这个手工礼品是去年在周而复始的圣诞节来临之际我送给我小表妹的。

I first downloaded a template of the stocking pattern online and printed it on an A4 sheet of paper.

我先从网上下载了一个袜子形状的模板，然后打印在一张A4纸上。

After cutting three stocking shapes based on the template, I sewed the left and right pieces together leaving the top edge open.

根据模板剪出三个袜子形状之后，我把左边和右边的布料缝到了一起，然后把上面的边缘保持在打开的状态。

Finally, in order to make it more special, I stuck a DIY reindeer to the front of the stocking.

最后，为了让它看起来更特别一点，我在袜子的上面点缀（贴）了一个手工制作的麋鹿。

Actually it was my first time trying something handmade, so I thought it would be a tough task at the very beginning. However, after I finished, it turned out that handcrafting is such a doddle for me.

I first downloaded a template of the stocking pattern online and printed it on an A4 sheet of paper. After cutting three stocking shapes based on the template, I sewed the left and right pieces together leaving the top edge open. Finally, in order to make it more special, I stuck a DIY reindeer to the front of the stocking.
