centigrade-center：center绝不是你认为的“中心”

【造词理据】由centi+grade组成。其中cent表“百、百分之一”，C同K表手，引申指抓取，这里指用抓取的物体的重量，表示其价值或价格。在拉丁语，人为规定为“一百”。17世纪意义发生转移，指“百分之一”。

grade源自PIE词根*ghredh- （散步walk、走go），G表骆驼，引申指行走。在拉丁语里指“爬楼梯、一步一步”，后进入法语表“等级”。这里指刻度。centigrade就是指百分度的。
