1.在中国所有的节日中，春节是最重要的。
Of all the festivals in China, the Spring Festival is the most important.
2.庆祝春节的时间并不固定，在一月末和二月初之间变化。
The date for its celebration is not fixed, changing from late January to early February.
3.为了迎接它，人们总是很忙碌。
To greet it, people are really busy.
4.在它到来之前，人们通常打扫和装饰他们的房子。
Before its approaching, Chinese people often clean and decorate their houses.
5.他们在门上贴春联，倒贴“福”字，希望新的一年顺顺利利。
They put up spring couplets on the door and put the "Fu" character up side down , hoping everything goes well in the coming year.
6.在春节前夕，合家团聚，吃团圆饭。
On the Eve of the Spring Festival, families get together, enjoying a reunion dinner.
7.在这个美好的时刻，在中国北方，饺子尤其受欢迎。
On this wonderful occasion, dumplings are especially popular in the north.
8.年轻一代通常亲自去拜访长辈，给长辈送特制的礼物。
The younger generations often visit their elders in person and give them specially-made gifts.
9.长辈一般会给孩子们发红包，人们相信红包会给他们带来好运气。
And adults usually give a red envelope containing some money to kids, which is believed to bring good luck.
10.以前，人们在春节时燃放鞭炮，以驱赶所谓的“年”兽。现在，零点时燃放鞭炮，以增加节日氛围。
In the past, people set off fireworks during the Spring Festival to drive the so-called "nian" beast way.
Now, firecrackers were set off at midnight to add to the festival atmosphere.
