The tiny woman’s coat

小不点夫人住在树林里。

The tiny woman lives in the woods.

她个子非常小，戴着眼镜，有着一头红头发。

She’s very tiny,

and she has a pair of glasses and red hair.

秋天快要过去了，冬天会很冷。

Autumn is almost gone,

the coming winter will be cold.

小不点夫人说：The tiny woman said: 

“我得做一件大衣过冬啊。

I want to make a coat for the winter.

可是。。。我要到哪里去找布料呢？

But。。。Where will I get the material?”

“用我们的树叶吧！”

“You can have our leaves.”

大树们说道

said the tall trees.

他们摇晃着树枝，金色的树叶落下来

they shook their branches

and golden leaves fell.

刷，刷，刷~

Rustle, rustle, rustle.

“谢谢。

Thank you.”

小不点夫人捡起了树叶装在篮子里。

The tiny woman picked up the leaves

and put them in a basket.

“可是，我要到哪里找剪刀呢？

Now, where will I get some scissors?”

“让我来吧。Try me instead.”

灰色的大鹅说到

said the gray goose。

它用锋利的嘴开始裁剪树叶，

He cut the leaves with his sharp beak.

嚓，嚓，嚓。

Snip, snip, snip.

“谢谢。Thank you.”

小不点夫人把裁剪好的树叶拼起来。

The tiny woman put together

the well cut leaves..

“那么我要到哪里找针线呢？

Then where will I get a

needle and some thread?”

 “给你一根我的刺吧。

Have one of my spines.”

小刺猬说

said the little hedgehog. 

 “给你几根我的鬃毛吧。

Have some of my mane.”

友善的大马说

said the friendly horse.

“谢谢谢谢。

Thank you thank you.”

小不点夫人有了针和线，开始缝衣服。

The tiny woman had needle and

thread and began sewing.

嗖，嗖，嗖。

Stitch, stitch, stitch.

衣服快要缝好了。

The coat is almost finished

“最后，我要到哪里找扣子呢？

Finally, where will I get some buttons?”

“拿几颗我们的种子吧。

Take some of our seeds”

野草说

said the wild weeds.

他们随风摇曳着身姿，让种子落到地上。

They danced in the wind,

so that their seeds fell to the ground.

小不点夫人捡着种子。

The tiny woman picked up the seeds.

一、二、三。

One, two, three.

冬天来了

Winter is here，

小不点夫人的大衣也做好了

the tiny woman’s coat is done。

红头发的小不点夫人，穿着金色的新大衣，走在漫天风雪里。

The red-haired tiny woman went out

into the storm, in her golden new coat.

她遇到了大树、野草、刺猬、大马还有灰鹅

She met the tall trees, the wild weeds,

the little hedgehog, the friendly horse and the gray goose：

“你的大衣真漂亮。

Your coat is beautiful.”

“这都要谢谢你们，我的好朋友们！

I have you all to thank, my dearest friends.

今年冬天我不会冷啦.

I won’t be cold this winter.

有了新大衣，我暖和得像一只裹在毛毯的小虫子。

With my new coat,

I can stay as snug as a bug in the rug. ”
