Practice 1

Forget

A few days before, I stewed a pot of sheep bone soup for my mother. It was being over a slow fire in the night before. early the next morning the meat on the bones was very cooked and the soup was still very hot. I was very pleased with it.  then I called to tell my mother that I would go to her place and drank the soup with her after a while.

As soon as I washed up, I went to the underground garage. Suddenly I found I forgot the soup. I burned wind to go upstairs and home to the kitchen and took out the soup. I set it inside my gate when I put on my shoes. I went out and entered the elevator and suddenly I realized I forgot the soup again.

I arrived at my mother’s home with the soup at last. My mother picked out the bones from the soup and put these into another pot and add some water in it. My mother told me the nutrition would ooze out from the bones stewing again like this.

We had the soup and chatted together at the table. I told her it was too difficult for me to bring the soup here. Mother laughed for a long time. She said, "what a bad memory my son has!" just then I nosed out some smell and hurried to the kitchen with mother ’s shouting “dear me!” the bones were burning in the pot.

忘记

几天前，我煨了一锅羊骨汤给母亲。汤是前一天晚上煨上的，第二天一大早，骨头上的肉已是非常松烂，而且汤还是滚烫的。我很满意，打电话给母亲，说一会儿去陪她喝骨头汤。

匆匆地洗漱好就下车库，才想起汤忘了拿。上楼回家到厨房去取汤，小心放在门口，换鞋出门，进电梯时想起汤又忘了。

总算将汤送到母亲家。母亲捞出骨头放在另一个锅里，添了水要再熬一次。说这样骨头里营养才能出来。

坐在桌前边喝汤边陪母亲说话。我告诉她对我来说给她带这点汤是多么的困难。逗得母亲开心大笑，说我记性真差。忽然我闻到一点什么味道，赶紧冲向厨房，母亲也说声“不好”，原来锅里的骨头汤烧干了。
