Social media offer a chance to communicate in a speedy and efficient manner.- Family members living abroad can be kept abreast of the latest happening news.- Friends who have not been seen since school or moved away, are able to keep in touch. 3. Social media can also help users connect with other people who share the same interests or outlook on life. - not just their inner circle of close friends and even closer family members- open the world up to them regardless of location- common ground is often the starting point for long-lasting relationships. Body2-Disadvantages of using social media every day 1. One of the negative effects on indivuduals is that many users may get addicted to social networking sites.- time-consuming (spend hours chatting online)- lack of activities (health-related problems) 2. From a societal level, the wide use of social network sites may cause privacy issues.- Many people upload personal information and photographs onto social networking sites; they often do not realize how easy it is for other people to view this information or for the site owners to use the data or photographs for their own financial gain. In conclusion, it has become more popular for people to socialise through the Internet, and this should be considered a positive trend.
