同乘电梯的教皇和律师

教皇和一位律师同乘电梯上天堂。
他们到达天堂之门时，天使、圣徒和其他圣洁之人疯狂地冲向他们，向他们致意。
他们进入天堂之后，那些人把律师扛到肩上，歇斯底里地欢呼着把他抬走。
教皇感到黯然无比。
圣彼得看此情，就向他走过去，说：“不要难过。我们这里经常有教皇来，但不是每天都有律师来。”

The pope and a lawyer are on the elevator...
The pope and a lawyer are on the elevator to heaven.
When they arrive at the gates, there's a mad rush of angels, saints, and other holy people on their way to greet them.
When they arrive, they pick the lawyer up on their shoulders and carry him off cheering hysterically.
The pope is deeply saddened.
St. Peter sees this and goes over to him and says, "Don't feel bad. We get popes in here all the time, it's not every day we get a lawyer."
