Doublenegatives 双重否定
Don'tput two negatives together. It doesn't make sense.不要把两个否定单词放在一起。它没有任何意义。例如:1.I'm not saying nothing. (You should say,"I'm not saying anything".)2. I don't want none. (You should say. " I don't want any".)
Seen/saw
Isaw you last night. (correct)
Iseen you last night. (incorrect)
Ifyou get confused about seen and saw just remember(如果你混淆了‘seen'或‘saw', 记得): 1.saw can be used on its own.( ‘saw’可以单独自己使用。)例如:I saw him. 2. seen needs ahelping verb ('seen'需要动词来帮助)例如: I have seen him.
Did/done
Idid it.(correct)
Idone it. (incorrect)
1.did can be used on its own - She did it.
2.done needs a helping word - She has done it. (She's done it)
Two, to,too
1.Two is the number 2.
2.To can be used in many ways 'To'可以以多种方式被使用: 例如: from here to there, to dosomehting, to push, to and fro.
3.Too is always an adverb 'Too'永远是一个副词: 例如:She is too much. He is clever too.
Shouldhave/should've
Whenspeaking should've can sound like should of.讲述‘should've'时, 听起来像‘should of'.'Should of' is never right.
