without getting any money in return. These people are calledvolunteers.
The first week in June (1-7 June) is Volunteers' Week in the UK. Various events will be held around the UK to recognise and reward current volunteers and to recruit new volunteers.
Quite a lot of British people have done some voluntary work. But what motivated them to do so? What did they get out of
