       Near my home, there is a shop. It’s not big. I can buy lots of things there. Sometimes I buy school things, like exercise books, erasers, rulers, pens and pencils in it. They are very cheap. My mother often buys food and drinks there. The apples are five yuan a kilo. I think they are a little expensive.

       There are only four people in the shop. They are three young men and an old woman. They are very friendly. The shop closes at 5:30 in the afternoon and you can’t buy things before 7:30 in the morning.

1. Sometimes I buy school things, like exercise books, erasers, rulers, pens and pencils in it.这句话中的like并不是喜欢的意思，而是介词，“像、比如”的意思。如果从词性的角度来看，如果是动词，表示的意思便是“喜欢”。例如，I like you.作动词时，它需要在句中表现出是谁喜欢谁。但是这个句子里边，核心的内容是“我买学校用品”，核心的事情已经说完了，后边只是在说具体都有哪些学校用品。倘若翻译为喜欢，句子就会让人啼笑皆非。我买学校用品，喜欢练习册，橡皮……。
