周杰伦官宣“三胎”，配文里这个英语表达，很妙！

周杰伦的产出速度，着实感人。

只不过产出的不是新歌，而是孩子——前两天，他在ins官宣老婆昆凌怀“三胎”了：

“原本想说出生了再来公布，看来是防守不住，这最美好的礼物，有押'孕’喔”

7年3孩，5年0专辑。

惹得网友在祝福的同时感慨：发专辑有生娃这速度就好了……

从照片上看，昆凌的孕肚很明显了，加上周杰伦官宣配文里还带上了tag（话题）arriving soon，网友猜测过不久就要生了~

arriving soon是“马上就要来/到”的意思，这里完整的说法应该是：

The/our baby is arriving soon.

我们的宝宝马上就要到了！

也可以说coming soon。

在周杰伦官宣后，昆凌不久也发文表示：N°5 coming soon ！

N°是法语numéro 的简写，相当于number。这句话的意思是：家里第五个成员马上就要来了！

在英语中，官宣怀孕比较少直接说pregnant，而是习惯绕着弯子委婉说。

除了像周杰伦、昆凌这样用arriving/coming soon，常见的委婉表达还有：

① she is  going to have a baby.

② she is  going to be a mother.

③ she is  carrying a child.

④she is  expecting.

之前郎朗的老婆吉娜怀孕时，他的英文官宣文案就用来be expecting，这句话是一种常见的委婉表达，表示“她在待产中”。完整说法是"She is expecting a baby."

⑤she has a bun in the oven.

bun/bʌn/是“包子”，oven/ˈʌv.ən/是烤箱；字面意思是“烤箱里烤面包”，实际上把婴儿比作面包，把子宫比作烤箱，是不是还挺形象生动呢？

⑥she is  in the family way.

字面上是这种表达除了很委婉，还衍生一种很幽默的表达：put someone in the family way.意思是"让某人怀孕"。

⑦she is  in a delicate condition.

delicate/ˈdel.ɪ.kət/作形容表示“脆弱的；娇嫩的；需要小心处理的”。delicate condition原指的是一种“微妙的形势”，也被用来委婉表示怀孕。

⑧she is  eating for two.

也就是To eat for both herself and her unborn child“一人吃两个人的分量”，暗示怀孕了。有点我们中文俗话说“一人吃两人补”的意思。

⑨She is about to have a blessed event.

blessed/ˈbles.ɪd/表示“神圣的；带来幸福的”。把怀孕当成一件“神圣的大事”，这种表达和我们中文的“喜事”差不多。

Apparently, the reader had overheard Hannah’s sister telling friends that Hannah was pregnant. The source also claims that Hannah is roughly two to three months into her pregnancy.
