东皇灵媲统群仙。

Reins and saddles theyvied to untie

Eight steedsplayed where magic herbs grew
TheMoon Pool was near, the Pleasure Tower loomed, and emerald birdsflew.
Afeast so grand,
Listen, theflute, the strings, and the band
Asif the lord aloft was to land.
Fresh cheeks andimpearled teeth, blond hair and rounded eyes,
Sogentle, so handsome and so bland.
Fill upthe kettle with nectar,
Andpresent elixir,
ForHis Living Ever.
The ethereal netctarsplashing dance
Wasperformed in pairs, well-tuned intoxicating prance.
Cymbals werestruck, like a cold fountain gushed
They sang loudand drank up; the moon o’er the Milky Way flushed.
Thered clouds fading, red varying in the western sky.
They would goback and to the world cast an eye.
Aradiant trip, the royal sedan now turned back.
Theapricot wind, miles awayd could hear the whips clack.
Gazing at Chang’an there, they saw willows enroute and petals on the track.
